After the incredible high of Friday’s royal wedding, I can’t believe Prince William and Kate Middleton are postponing the royal honeymoon. Why do people do that? In this case, apparently Prince William has to get back to work. But come on, does he really? Isn’t he a prince – and a duke?! Well I guess William and Kate are playing the role of regular folks for the time being, but the big question is: Where will the newly minted Duke and Duchess of Cambridge go when they finally take off?

Alexander McQueen at the Royal Wedding and Now, The Met

Alexander McQueen at The MetThe fine curators at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute couldn’t have know that Kate Middleton would choose Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton to design her wedding gown. The exhibit features 100 ensembles he designed and runs through July 31. Tonight The Met’s Costume Institute Gala is also dedicated to McQueen’s life and work so the red carpet should be especially exciting this year.

Stay tuned for my review of the exhibit…

So I think it’s obvious that no one really knows.

But where should William and Kate go after the royal wedding? What’s a honeymoon fit for a king-to-be (who’s trying not to be too extravagant since the government pays for his lifestyle)?

I’d like to make a few recommendations. Here are four amazing properties I’ve come across recently that I think would be worthy… Continue reading
